About Sanskriti The School

Sanskriti- The School was established under Terala Educational Society with the purpose of laying a strong foundation of knowledge for children using simple learning methods. We provide a unique platform for the overall development of children, allowing them to fulfill their potential in all aspects. Our school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is the largest educational board in the country and is duly recognized by the Department of Education, Government of India. The curriculum is broad and focuses on developing social capacities, sensitivity, good behavior, and ethics in children along with academic knowledge right through the 13 years of schooling– Nursery to Grade 10.

Our Vision

Sanskriti The School envisions to be the benchmark of quality education– by ensuring holistic development in children and equipping them with 21st century skills.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a safe environment that radiates harmony. We want to prepare students to become responsible citizens who serve a meritocratic India, rooted with Indian ethos.

How do we do it?

We intend to nurture students to be motivated, tolerant and caring, intellectually curious, Information & Communication Technology capable, equipped with high learning skills and leadership qualities. To achieve this, we have designed a curriculum with special emphasis on the creative approach of learning. The three main approaches of our curriculum are:

  • Activity-Based Learning: Activities like quiz debates, elocutions, spelling bees, projects, and worksheets help students engage in the process of learning. It promotes better grasping of information and retention.
  • Collaborative Learning: This is a great way to help children learn to be inclusive, build a rapport and work with team spirit. We promote collaborative learning through trust-building activities, celebration of festivals, health awareness programs, workshops and seminars.
  • Experiential Learning: Different experiences help students pick a stream, find their passion and discern their purpose in life. We prepare students by actively encouraging them to participate in a wide variety of experiences to further enhance their soft skills through community and charity work, public speaking, school committees as well as leadership roles.
  • Virtual Learning: The pandemic made us adopt virtual learning as the new norm. The transition was jarring but we saw students adapt to this new method surprisingly fast. Teachers and students of Sanskriti The School are now familiar with online classes. They also learnt to be critical thinkers, media literate and creators during the pandemic.

Everything mentioned above along with access to bright, cheerful classrooms that are well-equipped with modern, sturdy furniture and a good range of relevant materials and resources helps us create a conducive environment for children to learn and grow.

What makes us different?

  • Inclusive Education: The curriculum is equally accessible to all the students– regardless of gender, cultural background, race or religion. Within its current resources, the school attempts to compensate for any academic incapability among its students.
  • Safe & Enabling Environment: We adopt great standards of safety and child protection to provide a secure learning environment to all our students.
  • Inspiring Educators: Our team of dedicated faculty is skilled at making students feel safe, accepted, and capable. Our well-qualified, highly trained staff of over 60 educators brings diverse talent and enthusiasm for teaching into every classroom.
  • Lab/Robotics: Labs foster creativity and intellectual development through quality visual arts & hands-on experience by making students create objects of their choice. Students are taught various skills and are presented with many opportunities to understand mechanics and work on different out-of-the-box ideas.

Parents Speak

It’s always a pleasure to address young minds, they are our future. Children are often the reflection of their parents. They are great imitators and in growing phase they wish to imitate the elders in order to become like them and this is their natural child development. It is the duty of us as elders to let them imitate something that is good to make them great individuals. Bright faces that I see today receiving laurels and evincing their talents will be our future citizens. Let’s nurture them in right direction.
